Ms. Chermak has experience in all aspects of litigation
including trial, and has drafted motions and argued matters
on a broad range of issues in both State and Federal Court.

Ms. Chermak has negotiated and drafted:
book, television and motion picture contracts;
and intellectual property licensing agreements.

Ms. Chermak has provided assistance to the Los Angeles Superior Court
as a settlement counselor in their VAST program, and their Mediation program,
and as a Judge Pro Tem.

She is credited as a contributing editor
of the defamation chapter of a legal resource text.

She has been an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Law
at the University of West Los Angeles, College of Law, and a guest lecturer
on entertainment law at college campuses across Southern California.

Ms. Chermak is admitted to practice before:
all Courts of the State of California;
The United States District Court for the Central District;
The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and The United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Chermak has an extensive entertainment background,
having come from a family of entertainment professionals,
and having herself worked in the entertaiment industry,
in feature development, and television production and post-production
prior to entering into the legal proefession.

Ms. Chermak is also a published songwriter
and a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers
.
