She is credited as a contributing editor of the defamation chapter of a legal resource text. She is an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Law at the University of West Los Angeles, College of Law. Ms. Chermak has an extensive entertainment background, having come from a family of entertainment professionals, and having herself worked in the entertainment industry, in feature development, and television production and post-production, prior to entering the legal profession.
