CONSULTATION: If you wish to secure a telephone consultation, Ms. Chermak will discuss your entertainment questions with you for a flat fee of $500., for one session, up to two hours. Please indicate your desire to do so and you will be advised where to send the advance payment.

TRANSACTIONS - The Entertainment Lawyer's goal in handling transactions is to secure the best deal possible for the client, and to have it memorialized in a manner that is advantageous to the client's position.  This is the art of negotiation and drafting. The fee for the Law Firm's services in transactions may be either an hourly charge, a flat fee, or a percentage of the money to be earned by the client under the contract. 

 

MEDIATION - The goal of the Entertainment Lawyer in a mediation is to try to help opposing sides come together and voluntarily reach an agreement that resolves a dispute.  Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution technique that can save the parties substantial time, money and grief by either avoiding a lawsuit, or ending a lawsuit before trial and Judgment.  The Law Firm's fee for Mediation services is an hourly charge, plus travel expenses.

 

LITIGATION - The goal of the Entertainment Lawyer in a litigation situation is to try to secure the best result possible for the client under the circumstances.  Litigation should always be a last resort, but if negotiation and mediation cannot secure a resolution to the problem, or if you have been sued, you will want a strong litigator to forward and protect your interests.  Currently the Law Office is not taking on new litigation matters, but can review and advise you with respect to your legal matter, and act as "of counsel" with any litigator handling your case. The Law Firm's fee for such Litigation services will be an hourly fee, plus any travel expenses
